The National RAIDPlus Network was launched in December 2014 by Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust. The vision was to create a platform for staff working in Rapid Assessment Interface and Discharge and other liaison mental health services to:

  • Share best practice, ideas, experiences and resource materials
  • Identify common challenges and work together to find solutions
  • Strengthen links between liaison mental health services to facilitate collaborative working on research and innovation projects

Whilst recognising that acute liaison mental health models may differ between NHS trusts in response to local needs, the network aims for services to work together so that we are consistently at the forefront, setting the standard for innovative, high quality services both nationally as well as within our own trusts.

The National RAIDPlus Network is open to anyone who works in liaison mental health services. To become a member please register. Membership is free however you must ensure that you register with your NHS/work email address. To ensure you are kept up to date with future events and other news please ensure you tick ‘Join our mailing list’.
